How we get the personal information and why we have it
Most of the personal information we process is provided directly by you for one of the following reasons:
- Access to events updates, promotions, newsletters and resources
- Full understanding of health and wellbeing information of those participating in Heartscape therapy or activities
- Responding to inquiries from the Heartscape website.
- Booking therapy sessions.
- Booking events and activities run by Heartscape.
We use the information that you have given us in order to
- Keep you updated about upcoming events, newsletters and resources access, all connected to Heartscape’s holistic practices and activities (sometimes these events involve collaborations with other organisations or practitioners).
- In the case of those receiving one to one sessions, it’s important to ensure we have up to date details about your medical health and wellbeing to enable a fully informed approach.
- Respond to any questions or queries about the work of Heartscape.
- To ensure we can send you the right information related to any booked services you may be engaging with.
- To ensure we can send you information related to any events you may have booked.

How we store your personal information
Your information is securely stored on password protected computer system and in a lockable cabinet.
We keep your personal healthcare information for 8 years after the last therapy session. We will then dispose your information by securely.

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

- Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

- Your right to object to processing - You have the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

- You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
