“I just don’t feel like myself any more....”
Is this what you've said to yourself? I've said it myself and heard so many other women going through menopause say the same thing.
Menopause can leave you feeling like a stranger to yourself, experiencing symptoms like anxiety, broken sleep, heart palpitations, brain fog and hot flushes. Stress seems to impact you differently too. There's often a sense of bewilderment as your well-practiced coping strategies start failing you. This really impacts your day to day and your sense of who you are, often bringing more feelings of isolation. Overwhelm is common as you search for the best way to care for yourself through this time.
This is a stressful and tender place to be.
There's a lot of inconsistent information out there which is confusing. And there's something consistently missing from many of these conversations. This is just how much stress and your nervous system shape the intensity of your symptoms, how you're thinking, feeling and experiencing your world.
This workshop explores this connection, why it's so important to understand and what you can do differently to start feeling more like yourself again. With the emphasis on exploring and experiencing in a kind and gentle space, we'll discover how working with mind and body as equal partners can transform how you support your body through this transition.
No prior experience is necessary just come as you are with a curious mind and an open heart :)
“By taking a leap into something new I can change so much about what I have allowed myself to get stuck with”
